It is used short-term (7 days or less) to treat mild to moderate pain in adults and children who are at least 14 years old. It is also used to treat menstrual pain.
Abdominal pain, anorexia, diarrhea, nausea, flatulance, constipation, LFTS elevation
Hypersensitivity, ASA allergy, history of aspirin triad, GI tract ulcer/inflammation, CABG, renal dz, late pregnancy (may cause premature closure of ductus arteriosus)
Use caution in anemia, bronchospasm, cardiac disease, CHF, HTN, SLE, fluid retention, hepatic/renal impairment, bleeding diathesis.
Use in caution in patients with history of peptic ulcer, GI bleeding, upper GI disease
