It can cause very rare excessive relaxation, stomachache, nausea, vertigo, anorexia, drowsiness, skin rashes, diarrhoea, vomiting, indigestion, GI disturbances, insomnia, headache, constipation etc.
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug.
This medicine should be used with caution in the elderly population due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of these patients may be necessary in some cases. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.
